Evidentemente il grosso lavoro di Nokia per la promozione dei suoi WP7 della serie Lumia ha ottenuto, oltre ai rilevanti successi di vendita, anche l’attenzione degli sviluppatori di XDA.  Uno di loro, biktor_gj, è riuscito ad accedere al bootloader ed a modificare i file di sistema necessari per ottenere lo sblocco del dispositivo; il passo successivo è stato quello di installare una nuova ROM sbloccata con Interop Unlock e permettere, quindi, l’utilizzo di applicazioni Homebrew quali, ad esempio, WP7 Root Tool. La procedura non è facilissima e, per ora, pare funzioni solo su dispositivi con bootloader sbloccato; chi intendesse provare può trovare QUI le istruzioni. Come sempre in questi casi, Batista70phone non sarà responsabile di eventuali danni o malfunzionamenti del vostro dispositivo. Procedete solo se sapete quello che state facendo.

Evidently the great marketing promotion of Nokia for its WP7 Lumia series has obtained, in addition to significant sales successes, even the attention of XDA developers. One of them, biktor_gj, got access to the bootloader and was able to modify system files needed to obtain the unlock of device; the next step was to install a new ROM, unlocked with Unlock Interop and allow, therefore, the use of Homebrew applications such as, for example, WP7 Root Tool. The procedure is not easy and, for now, it seems only works on devices with unlocked bootloader; anybody is going to try can find instructions HERE. As always in these cases, Batista70phone won’t be liable for any damage or malfunction of your device. Proceed only if you know what you are doing.
