Nonostante la presenza massiccia di Galaxy Nexus, la comunità di XDA non ha abbandonato il glorioso Nexus S, dotandolo della sempre utile funzione di USB OTG/host, che permette la connessione di periferiche (tastiere, mouse) alla presa microUSB del dispositivo. E’ necessario possedere i diritti di root e flashare una ROM basata su Ice Cream Sandwich ed un Kernel specifico, elaborato dallo sviluppatore Sztupy, che abiliterà la funzione OTG/Host sui vostri Nexus S; l’attivazione della funzione segue di poco quella ottenuta sul Galaxy S e vista l’architettura simile dei due terminali non ci è voluto molto. Ci sono ancora dei problemi, il più importante dei quali è la necessità di alimentare con un’unità esterna le periferiche collegate che dovranno essere USB 2.0. Samsung Nexus S: now it is possible to enable USB OTG/Host function

Despite the massive presence of Galaxy Nexus, the XDA community has not abandoned the glorious Nexus S, giving it the more useful feature USB OTG/Host, which allows the connection of peripherals (keyboard, mouse) to the microUSB device’s port.
