Eccoci alla videorecensione del BlackBerry Bold 9900; è stato necessario qualche giorno in più del solito per cui vi chiedo scusa, ma gli impegni sono sempre tanti e trovare il tempo necessario non è sempre facile. Apro il video con l’avvertenza che non bisogna approciarsi a questa recensione come se si stesse parlando di un iPhone o di un Galaxy S2. Le peculiarità di un Blackberry sono altre, come ben saprete, ed è inutile aspettarsi prestazioni da urlo nell’ambito prettamente consumer. Ci sono evidenti passi avanti ma il dispositivo canadese è ancora lontano dall’eccellenza nel comparto multimediale. Nessun timore revenziale, invece, per quello che riguarda i materiali, la costruzione, la ricezione e l’audio. Un discorso a parte merita la batteria, fino ad oggi vero punto di forza di tutti i dispositivi RIM. Il processore da 1,2 Ghz, lo schermo touch, i 768 Mb di RAM e le nuove, ancorchè poche, funzioni di BB OS7 gravano notevolmente sulla durata della batteria da 1230mAh che raggiunge a malapena il giorno intero. Ho seguito il consiglio di Aldo, che ringrazio di cuore, che aveva commentato a tal proposito nell’articolo di presentazione del Bold 9900, ed ho installato la versione 440 del firmware con ottimi risultati: utilizzato come telefono principale raggiungo tranquillamente i due giorni pieni. Attenzione: l’installazione di versioni non ufficiali del sistema operativo fa decadere la garanzia ed in caso di assistenza bisogna riportare il telefono allo stato originale. Here it is the BlackBerry Bold 9900 videoreview; it was necessary a few days longer than usual so I apologize, but the commitments are always a lot and to find the time needed is not always easy. I open the video with the warming that we must not approach this review as if you were talking about an iPhone or a Galaxy S2. A BlackBerry has different features of course, as you well know, and it is useless to expect excellent performance in purely consumer field. There are clear steps forward, but the Canadian device is far from excellence in the multimedia sector. No fear, however, for what concerns the materials, construction, and receive audio. A separate discussion deserves the battery real strength of all RIM devices. The 1.2 Ghz processor, touch screen, 768 MB of RAM and the new, even if few features of BB OS7, weigh heavily on the 1230mAh battery life, which barely reaches the whole day. I followed the advice of Aldo, who i warmly thank, who had commented in this regard in the article of presentation of the Bold 9900, and I installed the unofficial firmware version 440 with excellent results: used as a primary phone easily reach the two full days. Warning: Installation of unofficial versions of the operating system voids the warranty and, in case of assistance the phone must return to its original state.
