Qualche mese fa, in questo articolo, il nostro grande Cristian ci parlava dello stato dei lavori per il porting di Siri, l’assistente vocale che è, forse, la novità più eclatante del nuovo iPhone 4S, su iPhone4 e iPod Touch 4th generation. Con il rilascio dell’aggiornamento della versione 5.0.1 di iOS, Apple ha reso possibile il porting legale dell’applicazione e, per questo motivo, si è costituito un team di sviluppatori che prende il nome dal progetto “i4Siri” e che sta lavorando per dotare anche il “vecchio” iPhone4 dell’assistente vocale; si dovrà ricorrere al JB per poter utilizzare un paio di tweak che si renderanno necessari. Dopo il break il video che ci mostra come lavora Siri su iPhone 4 e iPod, in quest’ultimo caso non molto bene, purtroppo.

Siri porting on iPhone4 still going on

A few months ago, in this article, our great Cristian told us about job status for the port of Siri, the voice-prompted that, perhaps, is the most striking novelty of the new iPhone 4S, on iPhone4 and 4th generation of iPod Touch. With the release of version 5.0.1 of the iPhone OS, Apple has made possible legally to port the famous app and, for this reason, it has formed a team of developers named as the project “i4Siri” and that is working to provide even the “old” iPhone4 of the voice assistant; it would be need of the JB to use a few tweaks that will be necessary.
