Google ha rilasciato un importante aggiornamento per la sua applicazione “Translate” e la novità più importante è la traduzione speech-to-speech per cui sono state aggiunte 12 nuove lingue all’inglese ed allo spagnolo: Brasiliano, Ceco, Olandese, Francese, Tedesco, Italiano, Giapponese, Coreano, Cinese Mandarino, Polacco, Russo e Turco. Un’altra funzione interessante è quella che permette, dopo aver pronunciato le parole da tradurre, di vedere la frase in anteprima prima di spedirla al server per la traduzione. In questo modo sarà possibile apportare le correzioni che si rendessero necessarie. Si potrà allargare il risultato con il pinch-to-zoom ed aggiungere nuove parole al dizionario personale.
