So già che questo articolo scatenerà la solita diatriba pro/contro Apple/Samsung; mi auguro solo che riusciate a mantenere un contegno ed un decoro consono esprimendo il vostro parere senza insulti e/o comportamenti aggressivi. La notizia è sempre quella, il brevetto anche (il famoso 8,086,604, ricerca multipla su un dispositivo tramite un’unico campo di ricerca utilizzando criteri di ricerca euristici) così come i dispositivi incriminati: Galaxy Nexus e Galaxy Tab 10.1 (che, per altro, è arrivato alla fine del suo ciclo e se ne venderanno un paio al mese in tutto il mondo). Apple ha inviato una lettera a tutti i rivenditori che hanno in stock i due dispositivi incriminati “invitandoli” a rispettare quanto stabilito dalla Corte del Distretto del Nord California che intima di sospendere con effetto immediato la vendita diretta nel territorio degli Stati Uniti, l’importazione e l’offerta di vendita. La copia della lettera (che troverete, in inglese, dopo il break) è stata inviata via e-mail, posta, fax e reca in allegato la copia dell’ingiunzione che consta di oltre 100 pagine. Inutile dire che, nel frattempo, il divieto di vendita del Galaxy Nexus è stato rimosso e, come detto, il Galaxy Tab 10.1 è già storia passata…… Adesso ditemi: non sembra ridicolo anche a voi?

Apple vs Samsung…. Ridiculous

I already know that this article will trigger the usual debate for/against Apple/Samsung; I just hope that you will be able to maintain composure and decorum appropriate to express your opinion without insults and/or aggressive behaviors. The news is always the same, even the patent (famous 8,086,604, multiple search on a device using a single search field using heuristic search criteria) as well as the devices: Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tab 10.1 (which, incidentally, has reached the end of its cycle and it will sold in a couple a month around the world). Apple has sent a letter to all vendors who have in stock the two devices implicated “inviting” to comply what the District Court of Northern California established, giving notice to terminate with immediate effect direct sales in the territory of the United States, import and offering for sale. Copy of the letter (which you will find, in English, below) was sent via e-mail, mail, fax, and has annexed a copy of the injunction, which consists of over 100 pages. Needless to say, in the meantime, that ban on the sale of the Galaxy Nexus has been removed and, as mentioned, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is already past history …… Now tell me please: does not seem ridiculous to you?
