Era nell’aria da qualche settimana e mancava soltanto l’annuncio ufficiale che è arrivato oggi: LG non produrrà più dispositivi Windows Phone. Un portavoce ha giustificato la scelta con l’insignificante numero di esemplari venduti che, includendo anche i vecchi Windows Mobile, hanno totalizzato un misero 3,9% sul totale delle vendite negli USA contro il 50% di Android. Sicuramente a Redmond non la prenderanno molto bene e, come successo con Samsung e HTC, minacciate di denuncia per inadempienza e “invitate” ad applicarsi di più.  LG announces: never Windows Phone

It was in the air for a few weeks and only lacked the official announcement that came today: LG will never produce more Windows Phone devices. A spokesman justified the choice with the insignificant number of units sold that, including even the old Windows Mobile, have scored a measly 3.9% of total sales in the U.S. compared to 50% of Android. Redmond certainly will not take very well and, as happened with Samsung and HTC, threatened with termination for default and “invited” to apply more. Beware of bullets, my friends.
