HTC One X è arrivato da qualche giorno nelle mani degli appassionati (QUI la bellissima e completa recensione del nostro Ivan) e iniziano le segnalazioni dei primi difetti. Dopo i primi problemi software (browser, Audio gracchiante, Flash Player…) arrivano feedback riguardanti il display da 4,7 pollici. Quattro esemplari in mano a CNET UK per i consueti test, se schiacciati ai bordi, mostrano una strana ed eccessiva flessibilità del display che creerebbe strane macchie e “spixellamento” della zona premuta. Sembra che HTC, consultata in merito, abbia risposto di essere a conoscenza del problema e che quei quattro esemplari non avrebbero dovuto essere spediti. In realtà altri utenti starebbero segnalando lo stesso problema. Sicuramente non è una manovra usuale e le segnalazioni indicano che la pressione deve essere di un certo livello per causare il problema ma, ancora una volta, si ripropone il fatto che troppe volte le case immettano sul mercato prodotti non sufficientemente testati e per il prezzo che è necessario pagare per tali dispositivi la ritengo una cosa inaccettabile.

HTC One X, display flaws reported UPDATE: video added

One HTC X has arrived a few days in the hands of the fans (HERE the beautiful and comlete review of our Ivan) and first flaws are reported. After the initials oftware issues (browser, scratchy audio, Flash Player …) we got feedback regarding 4,7 inches display. Four specimens in hand to CNET UK  guys for usual tests, if pressed on the edges, show a strange and excessive flexibility of the display that would create strange spots and “discoloured ” pixel on pressed area. It seems that HTC, consulted about, replied that it is aware of the problem and that those four devices should not have been shipped. In reality other people would be reporting the same problem. It is not, of course, a normal operation and reports indicate that the pressure must be of a certain level to cause the problem but,  once again,  too often the houses sell products not sufficiently tested and for the price we must to pay for these devices I believe is unacceptable.
