Giuro che quando ho letto la notizia (non recentissima, in verità) ho cominciato a ridere come un matto e per fortuna che io vivo da solo altrimenti avrei corso il serio rischio di vedermi entrare in casa medici ed infermieri pronti per un Trattamento Sanitario Obbligatorio (TSO). La notizia, surreale, è che anche il nuovo Nexus 4 di LG, di cui il nostro grande Mik ci ha segnalato la messa on-line del manuale di istruzioni, è stato perduto in un bar di San Francisco, proprio come successo ad illustri predecessori, iPhone 4 su tutti. Io mi chiedo come sia ancora possibile credere che queste cose capitino per caso/sfortuna; secondo me sono episodi ben orchestrati che permettono, senza colpo ferire, di mostrare il nuovo dispositivo ben prima della presentazione ufficiale (a proposito, concordo pienamente con Mik sull’inutilità degli eventi come il Google Playground che si terrà a New York il prossimo lunedì). Il proprietario del bar, tale Jamin Burton, ha subito una certa “pressione” dal personale di Google, che ha promesso un Nexus 4 nuovo di zecca come ricompensa per la restituzione immediata del prototipo; il nostro barista si è, invece, accontentato di scattare alcune foto e girare un video che ha poi venduto a Wired, famoso sito di tecnologia, guadagnando sicuramente di più. Devo cominciare a frequentare qualche bar anche io!

Nexus 4 too lost in a bar…

I swear that when I read the news (not so actual, in truth) I started laughing like crazy and luckily I live alone otherwise I ran the serious risk of seeing enter in my house house doctors and nurses ready for a Compulsory Health Treatment (CHT). The news, surreal, is that the new Nexus 4 of LG, of which our great Mik has reported that is on-line the instruction manual, has been lost in a bar in San Francisco, just as happened to predecessors, iPhone 4 on all. I wonder how it is still possible to believe that these things happen by chance/unluck; in my opinion are well orchestrated episodes that allow, without a shot being fired, to show the new device before the official presentation (by the way, I fully agree with Mik on ‘uselessness of events such as the Google Playground  that will be held in New York next Monday). The owner of the bar, Jamin Burton, has undergone a certain “pressure” from Google staff for the immediate return of prototype, they promising a Nexus 4 brand new as a reward; our bartender, however, was happy to take some photos and shoot a video that was later sold to Wired, the famous site of technology, surely gaining more. I have to start attending a few bars too!
