Ma come? Un altro ritardo? Per quale dispositivo questa volta? Posso immaginare lo sconforto e la rabbia che si sta impadronendo di voi, cari utenti, dopo aver letto il titolo. Ma questa volta l’annuncio di Samsung è uno di quelli che si può sopportare anche si tratterà di aspettare il nuovo Galaxy Note 10.1 fino a Giugno; il motivo non la solita difficoltà di adattamento di Ice Cream Sandwich ma una radicale trasformazione del “motore” principale. Samsung ha deciso che, al posto del previsto dual-core da 1,4 GHz presentato al MWC di Barcellona, il nuovo tablet con la penna (alla quale, speriamo, sarà trovato un alloggiamento nello chassis) avrà un nuovo processore quad-core così come impone la moda del momento. Non è ancora dato di sapere su quale chip cadrà la scelta ma fra i candidati Tegra 3 e Exynos dovrebbe imporsi proprio il  “cucciolo” di casa e viste le prime difficoltà che il chip di Nvidia sta incontrando, non credo sarà una scelta sbagliata.

Samsung announces another dealay… But this time it’s worth

But how? Another delay? For what device this time? I can imagine the despair and anger that is taking hold of you, dear user, after reading the title. But this time Samsung announcement is one of those that can be withstand despite we will wait until June the new Galaxy Note 10.1; the reason is not the usual difficulty to adapt Ice Cream Sandwich but a radical transformation of main “engine”. Samsung has decided that, instead of the expected 1.4 GHz dual-core presented at MWC in Barcelona, the new tablet with the pen (which to, we hope, it will be  found a slot in the chassis) will have a new quad-core processor so as dictated by current fashion. We still don’t know what kind of chip will fall on the choice but among the candidates Tegra 3 and Exynos it should impose the own “baby” and given first difficulties that the chip from Nvidia is facing, I do not think it will be a wrong choice.
