Lo abbiamo sempre affermato, anche in tempi non sospetti: se le case produttrici si affidassero sempre agli sviluppatori indipendenti (e Samsung lo ha fatto assumendo Mr Cyano aka Steve Kondik) gli aggiornamenti sarebbero sempre rilasciati per i dispositivi a prescindere dal modello e con puntualità rispetto alle tempistiche ufficiali. In questo caso parliamo di Ice Cream Sandwich e del Samsung Galaxy Tab, il primo tablet della serie uscito nel 2010; grazie a CyanogenMod 9 sarà adesso possibile utilizzare una ROM ICS sul Tab anche se con ancora qualche problema da risolvere come, ad esempio, la fotocamera non funzionate. Ma sappiamo che la febbre da “ultima versione” è più forte degli eventuali bug quindi sappiamo già che qualcuno di voi si cimenterà nell’installazione. Nel caso aspettiamo i vostri feedback. Ice Cream Sandwich on Samsung Galaxy Tab thanks to CyanogenMod 9

We’ve always said, even in old times: if the manufacturers rely always on independent developers (and Samsung has done engaging Mr. Cyano aka Steve Kondik) updates would be released for all devices regardless of the model and  with punctuality respect official timing. In this case we talk about Ice Cream Sandwich and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, the first tablet of the series came in 2010; thanks to CyanogenMod 9 will now be possible to use an ICS ROM on the  Tab despite some problems to be solved as, for example, the camera that it does not work. But we know that “latest version” fever is stronger than any bug so we know already that some of you will compete in the installation. In this case we’ll waiting for your feedback.
