Con gli esemplari della serie Xperia presentati nel corso degli ultimi mesi Sony ha introdotto il sensore Exmor R per migliorare il rendimento delle fotocamere dei suoi smartphone. Sui dispositivi in arrivo per la fine del 2012, la casa presenterà il nuovo sensore CMOS caratterizzato dall’aggiunta del pixel bianco agli usuali rosso, verde e blu creando così il RGBW coding che migliorerà le prestazioni della fotocamera in condizioni di scarsa luce e permetterà l’introduzione dell’HDR, già visto su iPhone, che migliorerà la cattura dei dettagli nelle zone molto chiare e molto scure in un solo scatto. Sony is preparing new CMOS sensors for its smartphones camera

With Xperia series devices presented during the last few months, Sony has introduced the Exmor R sensor to improve the performance of the cameras of its smartphones. On devices expected for the end of 2012, the house will present new CMOS sensor characterized for the addition of white pixel to the usual red, green and blue creating the RGBW coding that will improve the camera performance in low light and allow the ‘introduction of HDR, already seen on the iPhone, which will improve the capture of the details in the very light and very dark areas in one shot.
