Questo è un articolo che avrebbe dovuto scrivere il nostro grande Domenico e so già che non sarà la stessa cosa, ma cercherò di fare del mio meglio. In tempi rapidissimi, il telefono è arrivato sul mercato “soltanto” undici mesi fa,  LG ha iniziato il rilascio di GingerBread 2.3.4 per uno dei suoi prodotti di punta: Optimus Black che, ricordiamo, è il primo dispositivo della casa coreana equipaggiato di display Nova. Nell’anticipare il futuro, come già successo per Optimus Dual, l’aggiornamento doterà Optimus Black di miglioramenti quali nuovi widget, supporto a nuovi formati audio/video, autofocus più preciso e, udite, udite, Google+ integrato. Con la potenza dei mezzi che la contraddistingue LG rilascerà l’update, contemporaneamente a quelli europei, anche agli utenti in India; l’aggiornamento sarà disponibile solo attraverso LG Software Update (il futuro di LG non contempla ancora il rilascio via OTA). Come dite? Ice Cream Sandwich? Ssssttttt…. Non lo dite agli ingegneri LG altrimenti sospenderanno questo aggiornamento in attesa di Android OS 4.0; a proposito: ma qualcuno possiede ancora Optimus Black?

LG, future is coming: here it is Gingerbread 2.3.4 for Optimus Black

This is an article that our great Domenico was supposed to write and I already know that it won’t be the same thing, but I will try my best. In a very short time, the phone has come on the market “only” eleven months ago, LG has started the release of GingerBread 2.3.4 for one of its flagships: Optimus Black that, we remember, it is the first Korean house device equipped with Nova display. Anticipating the future, as it did for Optimus Dual, upgrade will provide Optimus Black with improvements such as new widgets, support for new audio/video formats, more accurate autofocus and, hear, hear, Google+ integrated. With the power of the media that distinguishes it, LG will release the update, at the same time of Europeans, for users in India too; the update will be available only through  LG Software Update (LG’s future does not cover even OTA release ). What do you say? Ice Cream Sandwich? Ssssttttt …. Do not tell it the LG engineers, otherwise they will suspend this update waiting to Android OS 4.0; by the way, but someone still has Optimus Black?
