Sarà la volta buona? Tutti i nostri utenti e i possessori del “famoso” primo dual-core Android conoscono le traversie che LG Optimus Dual ha attraversato fin dal momento della sua presentazione; ma, sicuramente, il problema più grande è stato quello dell’aggiornamento a Gingerbread, arrivato molto in ritardo, buggato e non risolutivo dei problemi affiorati sul dispositivo. In alcuni paesi l’aggiornamento non è stato mai rilasciato ed in altri, come negli States per la versione T-Mobile, si è arrivati al terzo tentativo.

La prima volta l’aggiornamento fu rilasciato per la suite LG Desktop e la seconda via OTA, entrambi non funzionanti. Ieri l’aggiornamento è stato rilasciato nuovamente via OTA e si spera che, finalmente, sia la volta buona. In attesa di Ice Cream Sandwich.

LG G2X (aka Optimus Dual), third attempt of Gingerbread update

It will be the right time? All of our users and owners of  “famous” first Android dual-core know the hardships that LG Dual Optimus has gone through since the time of its presentation; but, certainly, the biggest problem was upgrade to Gingerbread one, came very late, buggy and not resolving the problems surfaced on the device. In some countries, the update has never been released and others, such as the United States for T-Mobile version, has arrived at the third attempt. The first time the update was released for the LG Desktop suite and the second via OTA, both not working. Yesterday was re-released the update via OTA and hopefully, finally, is the right time. Waiting for Ice Cream Sandwich.
