In uno speciale evento che si è tenuto a Dubai è stato presentato un bellissimo esemplare di BlackBerry: il P9981. Si tratta di un Bold 9900 su cui Porsche Design è intervenuta con decisione sullo stile creando, a mio parere, un vero e proprio gioiello. Tutto il dispositivo è in puro acciaio tranne che nella parte posteriore che sfoggia un cover in vera pelle. Ai cambiamenti stilistici non corrisponde un intervento sulle caratteristiche HW che rimangono le stesse del Bold da cui il P9981 deriva. Si parla di un prezzo intorno ai 2000$ (1400€) con disponibilità in serie limitata prevista per la fine dell’anno. Non vi dico quante scimmie stanno ballando nel mio soggiorno! Dopo il break un video di presentazione ed uno che lo mette a confronto con il “normale” Bold 9900. Buona visione.

BlackBerry P9981 Porsche Design, business meets style

In a special event held in Dubai was presented a beautiful specimen of BlackBerry: the P9981. This is a Bold 9900 on which Porsche Design has stepped hardly on its  style creating, in my opinion, a real jewel. The whole device is made ​​of pure steel except in the back that features a genuine leather cover. Stylistic changes don’t mean the same for HWspecs that, in fact, remain the same of the Bold from which the P9981 comes. Someone talks of a price around $ 2,000 (€ 1,400) for limited serie and availability expected by the end of the year. I don’t tell you how many monkeys are dancing in my living room!
