Sembra un paradosso ma mentre RIM combatte una crisi senza precedenti che le ha visto perdere il primo posto quale produttore di palmari principalmente business oriented, le altre case cercano di accappararsi fette di mercato proprio nell’ambito di questa tipologia di dispositivi. Dopo il Droid Pro, che in Italia è appena stato presentato come Fire, Motorola ci riprova con un prodotto che sarà un’esclusiva del carrier americano Sprint, scelta che automaticamente lo esclude dall’arrivo in Italia, che si chiamerà Admiral. La parte del leone la fa, ovviamente, la bella tastiera QWERTY estesa, degna del Bold, miglior BlackBerry di sempre; il resto parla di un bel display touch da 3.1 pollici, Gingerbread 2.3.x, batteria da 1860 mAh, fotocamera da 5 Mpx, processore Qualcomm MSM8655 da 1,2 GHz, il tutto in uno spessore che non dovrebbe superare i 10 mm come si vede dalla foto.

Motorola Admiral, BlackBerry style always likes

It seems a paradox but while RIM fights an unprecedented crisis that has seen it losing the top spot as a producer of mostly business-oriented devices, the other houses are trying to hit market share in this type of devices. After the Droid Pro, which in Italy has just been presented as Fire, Motorola tries again with a product that will be exclusive to the U.S. carrier Sprint, which automatically excludes it of arrival in Italy, called Admiral. The lion’s share is, of course, the lovely QWERTY keyboard, worthy of the Bold, the best BlackBerry ever; the rest is about a beautiful 3.1-inch touch display, Gingerbread 2.3.x, 1860 mAh battery, 5 megapixel camera , 1.2 GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, all in one thickness should not exceed 10 mm as shown in the picture.
