La prima reazione degli appassionati di fronte ai numeri dei benchmark è, di solito, di discreto disinteresse; in effetti questi test non sono assolutamente esaustivi della bontà di un processore rispetto ad un altro ma alzi la mano chi, almeno una volta, non ha provato uno qualsiasi dei benchmark disponibili per verificare le prestazioni del proprio terminale. E’ proprio questa la considerazione che hanno fatto gli amici di PhoneArena confrontando i dispositivi che, per un motivo o per l’altro, sono quelli di maggior successo (iPhone escluso) degli ultimi mesi. Il quad-core di One X, come era lecito aspettarsi, ottiene risultati di assoluta eccellenza ma i “vecchi” dual-core hanno ancora qualcosa da dire.

The first reaction of fans in front of benchmark test results is, usually, of moderate disinterest; in fact these tests are not absolutely exhaustive of the goodness of one processor over another, but raise the hand who, at least once, has not proven any of the available benchmarks to test the performance of its device. It is just this consideration that made friends of PhoneArena comparing devices that, for one reason or another, are the most successful (iPhone excluded) in recent months. HTC quad-core one, as was expected, achieved outstanding results but the “old” dual-core processors still have something to say.
