Nei mesi scorsi si è discusso molto della scelta di Nokia di puntare tutto su Windows Phone, decisione fortemente voluta dal CEO Stephen Elop. Gli esperti del settore (ed anche noi, in verità) pronosticavano un crollo totale della casa finlandese che, sempre secondo questi esperti avrebbe dovuto scommettere su Android invece che Microsoft dimenticando, forse, che Elop arriva proprio da Redmond. Oggi Bloomberg pubblica i risultati di vendita degli ultimi mesi del 2011 e si scopre che Nokia ha venduto 1,3 milioni di pezzi fra Lumia 710 e 800. Gli analisti prevedono che, se Nokia riuscirà a mantenere questo trend, potrebbe vedere, finalmente, la fine di quel tunnel di crisi imboccato fra il 2007 ed il 2008. Un grosso aiuto lo darà, sicuramente, il Lumia 900 annunciato al CES ed in arrivo negli store At&t.

Nokia, rebirth will arrive thanks to Windows Phone

In recent months there where much discussion of Nokia choice to bet all on  Windows Phone OS, decision strongly supported by the CEO Stephen Elop. Industry experts (and we too, of course) predicted a total collapse of the Finnish who, according to these experts would have to bet on Android instead of Microsoft forgetting, perhaps, that Elop comes just from Redmond. Today, Bloomberg publishes the sales results of the last months of 2011 and it turns out that Nokia has sold 1.3 million pieces between Lumia 710 and 800. Analysts predict that, if Nokia will maintain this trend, it may see, finally, the end of the tunnel crisis embarked between 2007 and 2008. A big help will come from the Lumia 900 announced at CES and arriving in At&t stores.
