Tutti gli amanti di un certo tipo di film d’azione che privilegia le arti marziali conoscono Jackie Chan, eclettico attore che ha saputo anche cimentarsi con pellicole comiche e più tradizionali. In occasione di un evento per la raccolta di fondi da lui organizzato in Cina, Samsung lancerà un nuovo dispositivo dal design che riporta indietro di qualche anno: il flip phone, quel particolare telefono formato da due gusci chiusi uno sull’altro. Il primo esempio in tal senso è stato sicuramente il Motorola StarTac che ha, insieme ai primi Nokia e Nec, creato il mercato della telefonia cellulare alla fine degli anni 80. Il modello Samsung si chiama SCH-W203 ed è caratterizzato dal doppio display da 3,7 pollici con risoluzione 800×480 (WVGA), processore quad-core Exynos 4 da 1,4 GHz, 2 GB di RAM, 16 GB di memoria (espandibile con MicroSD), batteria da 1850 mAh, fotocamera posteriore da 8 Mpx ed anteriore da 1,9 Mpx, supporto dual-sim e Ice Cream Sandwich on board. Data la finalità benefica il prezzo è assolutamente fuori mercato: 2300€. Ovviamente disponibile solo in Cina a partire dal prossimo mese di Dicembre.

Samsung SCH-W203, Jackie Chan’s flip phone

All lovers of a certain type of action movies which focuses on the martial arts know Jackie Chan, eclectic actor who was also able to experiment himself with comedies and traditional movies. For a charity event he organized in China, Samsung will launch a new device with a design that brings back a few years: the flip phone, that particular phone with two shells closed on each other. The first example of this was surely the Motorola StarTac which, together with the first Nokia and NEC, created the mobile phone market in the late 80’s. Samsung model is called SCH-W203 and is characterized by two 3.7-inch display with a resolution of 800×480 (WVGA), 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos 4 processor, 2 GB RAM, 16 GB of memory (expandable with MicroSD), 1850 mAh battery, 8 megapixel rear camera and 1.9 megapixel front, dual-sim and Ice Cream Sandwich on board. Given the purpose of the charity price is absolutely out of the market: 2300 €. Obviously only available in China starting next December.
