Evidentemente la frequenza dei 900 MHz, quella in cui lavora la connessione Edge, risulta particolarmente indigesta al Galaxy Nexus anche dopo il rilascio da parte di Google dell’aggiornamento che avrebbe dovuto risolvere il problema. Nel video che segue vedremo cosa succede ad un Nexus in Bootloader quando gli si avvicina un telefono che lavora proprio alla frequenza di 900 MHz. E’ giusto sottolineare che difficilmente ci si troverà in una situazione come quella proposta ma, secondo me, è altrettanto giusto sottolineare anche la superficialità con la quale si immettono sul mercato dispositivi che, non solo per il costo a cui sono proposti, meriterebbero ben altra attenzione da parte dei reparti preposti ai collaudi finali (sempre ammesso che esistano ancora). Non certo una bella figura per big G.

Galaxy Nexus and 900 MHz issue, mistery continues

Evidently the frequency of 900 MHz, in which the  Edge connection works, is particularly unpalatable to the Galaxy Nexus also after the release by Google of the update that would solve the problem. In the video below we’ll see what happens when to a Nexus in Bootloader comes up a phone that works just the frequency of 900 MHz. It is right to highlight that we will be rarely in a situation such as the one proposed, but in my opinion, it is also right highlight the superficiality with which with those devices are placed on the market that, not only for the cost to which they are proposed, could deserve much attention from departments in charge of the final tests (assuming that there still exists). Certainly not a pretty picture for big G.
