Il Sony Ericsson XPeria Arc, presentato all’ultimo CES di Las Vegas, è il terminale sul quale la casa nippo-svedese punta tutte le sue carte per risollevare il comparto telefonia dopo la pessima esperienza della serie XPeria X10. Rikard Skogberg, responsabile del comparto multimedia, ci mostra in un video i miglioramenti della fotocamera ottenuti grazie alla tecnologia di retroilluminazione Exmor R che, insieme alla regolazione di apertura dell’obiettivo, permette ottime foto anche in condizioni di scarsa illuminazione. Per rendere meglio l’idea di tali miglioramenti, il video è stato girato con un secondo Arc.

Scontro in famiglia tra il fratello metallaro e quello sportivo chi vincerà ? Le differenze più marcate si hanno a livello di pannello, multitouch ( 4 tocchi in contemporanea ) per il Metal e dualtouch ( 2 tocchi ) per il Ferrari, risultati migliori nel test di Quadrant e di Linpack, sempre a favore del Metal, display leggermente più luminoso per il Ferrari.

Giornata di confronti con Omnia 7; è ora la volta del Metal. In questa ennesima comparazione va tenuto conto dell’importante differenza di prezzo che intercorre tra i 2 terminali: da 150 a 200 € in più se si vuole un Samsung no brand. Ho trovato una maggior fluidità nell’Omnia 7, sia nella home che nel browser, ma in quest’ultimo il Liquid ha il vantaggio del supporto ai contenuti in flash, per qualcuno indispensabile. A conti fatti direi che il rapporto qualità/prezzo di Acer è davvero buono.

Comparison day with Omnia 7 today; it is time of Acer Liquid Metal. In this comparson we have to count the important price difference through device: from 15o to 200 € more if you want a no brand Samsung. Omnia 7 is smoother than Liquid for me, both on homescreen and browser, but in this one Liquid has Flash contents support, needful for someone . At the end the Liquid value for money is very very good.
