Dopo molte speculazioni, anche il Galaxy S4 Mini è stato ufficialmente presentato da Samsung e come è stato per gli altri modelli precedenti, i cui nomi richiamano al modello top di gamma della casa coreana, anche questo di somigliante ha solo il form factor, poichè l’hardware sotto al cofano è piuttosto diverso dal suo fratello maggiore.
Per carità, le caratteristiche sono assolutamente di tutto rispetto, anche se il tipo di processore dual core da 1.7 Ghz a bordo, non è ancora noto (si presume sia uno Snapdragon 400), e la versione di Android è l’ultimissima al momento (4.2.2), ma come sempre bisognerà attendere il prezzo, che al momento non è stato ancora dichiarato.
Il display è un SuperAmoled da 4.3″ con risoluzione “solo” qHD, che comunque accontenta chi ama dimensioni più contenute per gli smartphone, la memoria RAM è da 1.5 Gb (costava troppo mettere 2 Gb ? ), 8 Gb di memoria interna espandibile con microsd fino a 64 Gb, fotocamera posteriore da 8 Mpixel ed ha anche il modulo LTE che non guasta. Le colorazioni previste sono il bianco e il nero.
Un modello che tutto sommato, offrirebbe una esperienza d’uso con Android più che soddisfacente, anche dal punto di vista software, poichè per chi ama le implementazioni di Samsung, anche questo S4 Mini, possiederà la maggior parte delle peculiarità del suo fratello maggiore, ma a mio avviso, può essere appetibile solo se venduto al prezzo giusto.
Visti però i suoi predecessori, non c’è da aspettarsi chissà cosa se non attendere i soliti 2 mesi per farlo calare vistosamente.
Sarà presentato al prossimo evento Samsung Premiere 2013 a Londra il prossimo 20 giugno.

Special features such as Sound&Shot, which uniquely stores sound and voice together as pictures are taken, and Panorama Shot, which allows users to photograph the full view of their surroundings, ensure no memory is lost. Receive travel assistance and information service through the preloaded S Travel application, which can also recommend future trips and provide a guide along the way. Users can also automatically arrange photos in a smart format with the Story Album function. Photos taken by GALAXY S4 mini are automatically gathered and saved according to the user’s timeline, geo-tagging information, or a specific event to create a photo album.
