Lo avevamo previsto: al CES di Las Vegas i tablet sono le star assolute. E’ la volta di LG e T-Mobile che presentano il loro tablet da 10 pollici: il G-Slate. A parte le dimensioni non si conosce molto di più se non che avra processore dual-core, Honeycomb e connessione 4G.

Anche At&t si sta preparando al lancio della sua rete 4G. Il terminale scelto per la connessione ultra veloce è HTC Inspire 4G. A vedere le immagini non sembra nulla di diverso dall’europeo Desire Hd: display da 4,3 pollici, nuova versione dell’interfaccia Sense. Per ora non si sa nulla di più.

Non solo top di gamma al CES di Las Vegas. Huawei presenta, infatti, un dispositivo di fascia media dalle caratteristiche interessanti. Si chiama Ideos X5 ed arriva con FroYo on board, processore Qualcomm da 800 MHz, display da 3,8 pollici, fotocamera da 5 Mpx con registrazione in HD, radio FM, effetti audio SRS, Wi-Fi e Bluetooth. Già disponibile in Nuova Zelanda e Singapore aspettiamo di sapere se arriverà anche in Italia.

Not only stars from Las Vegas CES. Huawei presents, in fact, one mid-ranged device with interesting specs. It is named Ideos X5 and it comes with FroYo on board, Qualcomm 800 MHz processor, 3,8″ display, 5 Mpx camera, Hd video record, FM radio, SRS audio effects, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Available already in New Zeland and Singapore we wait for to see if it will get to Italy too.

Arrivano una dopo l’altra le novità dal CES di LAs Vegas. Questa volta tocca al Motorola Xoom, tablet da 10 pollici che era stato mostrato da Andy Rubin all’evento Google di un paio di mesi fa per l’anteprima di Honeycomb. Processore dual core da 1 GHZ, risoluzione del display 1280×800 ma anche qualcosa da sistemare come lo slot per la micro sd non funzionante e l’assenza, per ora della connessione LTE promessa. Il tutto sarà sistemato al momento dell’arrivo negli stores che ancora non è stato comunicato, così come il prezzo.

News from Las Vegas CES are coming one after the other. It is the time of Motorola Xoom, 10″ tablet shown from Andy Rubin at the Google event a couple of months ago as Honeycomb preview. Dual core 1 GHz processor, 1280×800 display resolution but somenthing to fix too like micro sd slot not working and the LTE modem connection absence. Everything will be fix before the official launch time on the stores, we don’t know when for now.

L’abbiamo detto tante volte: la nostra community è qualcosa di più di un gruppo che discute delle proprie passioni in maniera superficiale. Batista70phone, Blog e Forum, è una famiglia dove non solo ci si aiuta l’un l’altro ma si crea e si mette a disposizione degli altri il frutto del proprio lavoro, o meglio, della propria passione. “La prima ROM italiana ad avere la mod dei quattro lockscreen. Basata sulla nuova XXJPY Froyo 2.2.1, gli ho impostato manualmente il CSC ITV.
Il kernel è il Voodoo 5.0.3 ma ho disabilitato il lgfix automatico, se volete lo riattivate da recovery. Per l’installazione leggete bene le istruzioni. Non esegue nessun format dei dati, quindi non perderete le applicazioni installate”.

We said it many times: our community is something more than only a group of people who discuss superficially about their passion. Batista70phone, Blog & Forum, is a real family where we don’t help each other only, but on create and on make available to everybody the fruit of our job, or better, of our passion. This time honor is for Daniele (aka Sconcau84) our Forum user and  great developer which presents his own ROM for Samsung Galaxy S. I let him to introduce his job:

“First italian ROM having four mods lockscreen. Based on the new XXJPY Froyo 2.2.1, i have manually set CSC ITV. Kernel is Voodoo 5.0.3 but i disabled automatic lagfix. If you want to enable it you can do from recovery. Follow well  the instructions for installation. It doesn’t do data format so you won’t loose any of your applications”.

Dopo gli articoli delle settimane scorse (QUI l’ultimo) torniamo a parlare del Sony Ericsson X-Peria Play, se si chiamerà proprio così. Il progetto è in fase pre definitiva e adesso ha stampati i segni identificativi della serie X-Peria sulla scocca. I materiali sembrano decisamente migliorati e, in una delle foto, possiamo vederlo a confronto con X-10. Dopo numerosi rumors sulla versione di Android OS sembra proprio che la scelta sia caduta su Gingerbread 2.3 e non su Honeycomb come si pensava. Arriverà al CES di Las Vegas o al MWC di Barcellona come annunciato? Non resta che aspettare.

SONY ERICSSON X-PERIA PLAY (aka ZEUS Z1), LAST NEWS

After our last articles (HERE the latest) we are talking again about Sony Ericsson X-Peria Play or whatever it’ll end up being called. Project is almost at the end and now it has Xperia distinctive signs engreaved on the case. Materials and building look improved and we can see it compared with one X10 in a picture. After many rumors about Android OS version on board, it does seem that Gingerbread has been chosen and not Honeycomb as we thought. Shall it get at Las Vegas CES or at Barcelona MWC as announced? Stay tuned.

Sarà, e non solo per il nome, la vera e propria star del CES di Las Vegas che sarà inaugurato proprio in queste ore, ma anche lui deve misurarsi con iPhone 4, a torto o a ragione, ritenuto il migliore della compagnia. Senza entrare nel merito di questa affermazione, in questo video sono messi a confronto i browsers di LG Star 2X e, appunto, iPhone 4. Vediamo se il dual-core coreano mantiene ciò che promette. Ovviamente dopo il break. Buona visione.

Continuano i miei test sul Nexus S e stavolta vi propongo alcuni scatti e un video, fatti in condizioni di luce piuttosto scarsa (un paio di foto sono fatte completamente al buio e illuminate solo dal flash …). Devo dire che il flash è davvero potente e illumina molto bene la scena, personalmente mi ritengo soddisfatto.

Il video in condizioni di luce scarsa scende a 16 fps ma è cosa normale, io poi l’ho girato in macchina di sera con la strada piuttosto buia, proprio per girarlo in una condizione estrema e non usufruendo nemmeno della luce del flash potrei dire di non potermi lamentare troppo, ma lascio a voi gli ulteriori commenti.

NEXUS S PICTURES AND VIDEO ON NIGHT  TIME BY PHENOMIK FOR BATISTA70PHONE

I do continue testing my Nexus S and this time i want to show you some shots and one video, took and filmed on poor light condition (i took a couple of shots in full dark conditions, only with flash light). I have to tell that flash light is very powerful and it illuminates the ambience very well; i’m satisfied a lot.

Video, on poor light conditions, is only at 16 fps but it is normal. I filmed it driving, on evening with dark road, just for trying worst conditions and i not used flash light; this time too i can not complain and i’m satisfied.

Let’s start with some home shots; first picture is an Arcangel Gabriel copy handpainted on wood by my sister for my wedding. It was very dark.
