Dopo il primo processore dual-core per smartphone e tablet Tegra 2, che vedremo sul prossimo LG Optimus Dual, Nvidia lancerà al prossimo WMC di Barcellona la versione 3D a 1,2 GHz che si chiamerà semplicemente Tegra 2 3D. Il primi dispositivi dotati di questo chip dovrebbero essere pronti per la prossima primavera e non saranno solo tablet ma anche potenti smartphone. Sarà quindi il 3D il prossimo nutrimento delle nostre scimmie agitate? Cosa ne pensate cari amici?

After first dual-core processor for tablets and smartphones, Tegra 2, that we will see on the next LG Optimus Dual, Nvidia will launch at the next Barcelona WMC, 3D 1,2 GHz version called simply Tegra 2 3D. Oggi è il giorno del debutto ufficiale nei negozi sudcoreani del tanto atteso LG Optimus 2X (aka Dual), il primo smartphone Android con processore dual-core Tegra 2 di Nvidia. Il terminale, che arriverà in Europa alla fine di questo mese, sarà disponibile anche bianco per il mese di Febbraio. Dalla presentazione dell’Xperia Arc allo scorso CES di Las Vegas, Sony Ericsson sta dimostrando di voler mantenere la parola rispetto alle dichiarazioni che affermavano la volontà di imparare dagli errori fatti. In quest’ottica deve considerarsi la scelta di abbandonare Symbian S60 a favore di Android Gingerbread per il nuovo Vivaz 2. Il nuovo dispositivo (del quale potete leggere la recensione completa QUI) è caratterizzato da processore Qualcomm MSM7630 da 1GHz, GPU Adreno 205, 512 Mb di RAM, display con tecnologia BRAVIA da 3,8 pollici 854×480, batteria da 1500 mAh. Dovrebbe essere presentato al prossimo MWC di Barcellona (noi ci saremo).

SONY ERICSSON MT15i (aka VIVAZ 2), ON PASSES TO ANDROID.

From last Las Vegas CES XPeria Arc presentation, Sony ericsson is showing that they want really to keep the promise about declarations that affirmed that they want to learn from recent mistakes. This is why they choose to leave Symbian S60 in favor of Android Gingerbread for its new Vivaz 2. New device (wich you can read complete review HERE) has 1 GHZ Qualcomm MSM7630 processor, Adreno 205 GPU, 512 Mb of RAM, BRAVIA engine 3,8″  display 854×480, 1500 mAh battery. Chiariamo subito una cosa: questo telefono non esiste, è solo un concept disegnato da Kristian Ulrich Larsen, designer scandinavo che ha previsto ben tre display in questo concept Android. I tre display sono di tipo Amoled e potranno (potrebbero) essere utilizzati in diverse posizioni; nelle rispettive parti superiori sono previsti dei LED da utilizzare per notifiche, avvisi e segnalazioni. FLIP, THREE DISPLAY ANDROID SMARTPHONE

Let’s get the obvious out of the way first: this phone doesn’t exist, it is only a concept designed from scandinavian designer Kristian Ulrich Larsen who has provided three display on this Android concept. Displays are Amoled and they can be (could be) used in different ways; on the top of each display there are LED used fon notifications, alerts and reports. It is somenthing never seen before surely. Fra un mese aprirà i battenti il MWC di barcellona, la più importante manifestazione europea della telefonia mobile, e noi di batista70phone saremo presenti per fornirvi in anteprima tutte le notizie più importanti. Dopo l’operazione Nexus S Samsung si prepara ad un altro passo importante che definisce “la prossima evoluzione” del mobile. Ha organizzato un evento per il giorno 13 Febbraio nel quale promette che “qualcosa di grande sta arrivando”. Data l’immagine, che ritrae un Galaxy S, cosa sarà, secondo voi, cari utenti?

SAMSUNG WILL PRESENT THE “NEXT  EVOLUTION” MOBILE AT  MWC

In one month it will be Barcelona MWC opening day, the most important european fear of mobile phones, and batista70phone staff will be there for report you about all news. After Nexus S operation Samsung is preparing for another important step, definied “next evolution” of mobile. It has planned one event for February 13th announcing that “something big is coming”. Come ci si aspettava, durante l’evento di ieri a New York, Verizon Wireless ha presentato la versione CDMA di iPhone 4. Non ci sono novità, a parte il modulo radio ovviamente, ed il dispositivo è identico alla versione GSM tranne che per il Mobile Hotspot di verizon. Forse la paura di proteste da parte dei milioni di persone che hanno acquistato la versione GSM con i noti problemi di antenna ha consigliato ad Apple di rinviare le novità al prossimo modello. Invariati anche i prezzi rispetto ad A&t: 199$ il 16 Gb, 299$ il 32 Gb, con contratto ovviamente. Disponibile dal 10 Febbraio.

AGGIORNAMENTO

A seguito dei commenti a questo articolo voglio aggiornare lo stesso con alcune foto di Engadget che testimoniano le lievi differenze fra i due dispositivi e che, secondo Apple, servono solo per adattare la tecnologia Verizon alle antenne dell’iPhone. Ecco perchè riportavo che non ci sono differenze sostanziali rispetto alla versione GSM; ovviamente i dubbi degli utenti sono pià che legittimi.

VERIZON PRESENTED iPHONE 4

How expected, at New York event yesterday, Verizon Wireless presented CDMA version of iPhone 4. There are no news, excluded radio’s of course, and the device is exactly the same of GSM version execpt fo Verizon Mobile Hotspot. Maybe the fear of possible protests from million of users who got the GSM version vith its antennagate problem, advised Apple to postpone news for next model. No differences on prices: 199$ for 16 Gb and 299$ for 32, with two years contract of course. Available from February 10th. Users doubts are rather than legitimate.

UPDATE

This update is because i read your comments, dear users, and i want to update the article with some picture from Engadget. These little differences, according to Apple, are only to adapt iPhone 4′s antennas to Verizon technology. That’s why i wrote that there are not big differences with GSM version.

Ancora un video del Playstation Phone di Sony Ericsson. Questa volta si vedono girare sul dispositivo due giochi abbastanza impegnativi, anche se non nuovissimi, per il suo comparto grafico: Ridge Racer e Resident Evil 2. Si notano miglioramenti rispetto ai precedenti filmati ma il software non è ancora definitivo, tanto è vero che i giochi sono caricati da un’applicazione di terze parti che si chiama ROM Buddy, disponibile sul market. Si spera vivamente che la versione definitiva sia migliore di quanto si vede nel filmato, visibile dopo il break. Buona visione.

SONY ERICSSON XPERIA PLAY (aka PLAYSTATION PHONE), ANOTHER VIDEO

Another video for the Sony Ericsson Playstation Phone. This time you can see two games not so new but hard enough for its graphic GPU: Ridge Racer and Resident Evil 2. You can see considerable improvements respect older videos but software is not definitive, in fact games are loaded from a third part application called ROM Buddy, available on the market. We hope that definitive version will be better than what we see on this video, that you can see after the break. Enjoy it.

Il Sony Ericsson XPeria Arc dimostra che quando la casa nippo-svedese si mette a lavorare sul serio, riesce a produrre dispositivi molto belli. Se riuscisse anche a farli arrivare negli stores in tempi non biblici tutti ne saremmo più felici. Il nuovo XPeria Arc ha tutto per essere un otimo dispositivo: display da 4,2 pollici 854×480, Gingerbread, fotocamera da 8 Mpx, ottimo design, porta HDMi, processore Qualcomm da 1 GHz e motore grafico BRAVIA, lo stesso che Sony utilizza per i televisori. Speriamo di riuscire a vederlo nei negozi quanto prima.

Il Sony Ericsson XPeria Arc is the demonstration that when japanese-swedish factory works seriously produces beautiful devices. If it could to hit them stores not in biblical times we would be  happy. New XPEria Arc has everything for being an excellent device: 4,2″ display 854×480, Gingerbread, 8 Mpx camera, design, HDMI port, 1 GHz Qualcomm processor and BRAVIA graphic engine, the same Sony uses on tv. We have only to hope to see it early on the stores.

A differenza dell’Italia, negli States polaroid non è conosciuta solo per le macchine fotografiche ma anche per una serie di dispositivi elettronici tipo lettori dvd portatili (io stesso ne ho uno), Mp3 player, videoregistratori. Non deve stupire, quindi, che anche Polaroid presenti il suo tablet. L’Os è Android froYo, il display è da 9,7 pollici, il processore un ARM Cortex A8 da 1GHz, 4 Gb di ROM, fotocamera da 2 Mpx e batteria da 6800 mAh. Nulla di rivoluzionario.

AN ANDROID TABLET FROM POLAROID TOO

Differently from Italy, Polaroid is not known in United States only for cameras but for a series of electronic devices as portable dvd player (i have one too), Mp3 player, videorecorder. Not surprising, then, that Polaroid too presents its tablet. FroYo Android OS, 9,7″ display, 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processor, 4 Gb of ROM, 2 Mpx camera and 6800 mAh battery. Nothing revolutionary.

I rumors e le foto degli ultimi giorni avevano svelato tutti i suoi segreti. Così come Evo Shift 4G è la versione americana del Desire Z, questo Thunderbolt può essere definito la versione americana del Desire HD, entrambi con connessione 4G LTE. In questo caso le specifiche tecniche sono:
