Beautiful Widget è uno dei widget per Android più conosciuti e permette la visualizzazione di ora e meteo sul display del proprio telefono. Ma ciò che lo ha reso così popolare è la possibilità di personalizzarne il suo aspetto attraverso l’utilizzo di numerose skin, create dai developers di tutto il mondo. Questo aggiornamento porta BW alla versione 3.3 ed introduce diversi miglioramenti. Le due novità più importanti sono il Super Clock Widget ed il supporto all’Open Gl negli sfondi animati. Il nuovo Super Clock Widget è disponibile non solo in dimensioni differenti (4×2, 4×1 e 2×1) ma anche con differenti layout. La sezione dedicata alle impostazioni è stata migliorata e il widget supporta ora skin in alta risoluzione. Il supporto all’Open GL permette di interagire con gli elementi che fanno parte dello scenario (nuvole, sole, erba, etc). E’ consigliabile utilizzare un dispositivo Android dotato di acceleratore grafico abbastanza prestante per sfruttare al meglio il Live Wallpaper ridisegnato.

BEAUTIFUL WIDGET IMPORTANT UPDATE
Beautiful Widget is one of the most known Android widget and allows meteo/clock visualization on the display. But what made it so popular is the option to customize its aspect with many skins, create from from all over the world developers. Sembra che, a differenza di LG che fin dal lancio permetterà la registrazione video in full HD 1080p, per il Motorola Atrix non sarà così, nonostante anche questo terminale monti il famoso processore dual core di Nvidia Tegra 2.

Stamattina stavo valutando l’acquisto di una stampante per uso personale e ho trovato su un sito che visito spesso, un’offerta interessantissima di un oggetto del desiderio di molti, anche se ancora non a stock.
Nonostante l’annuncio ufficiale di Samsung riguardante il lancio del Nexus S di Google anche nel nostro paese, con un prezzo consigliato di 549 €, sul sito di EPRICE è comparso a listino proprio il Nexus S che per il bel Paese, porta come numero di modello I9003.

Anticipo gli eventuali commenti del tipo “Ma come? Droid Pro? Solo ora? Ma non è uscito qualche mese fa?” Tutti commenti esatti e da utenti preparati come voi non potrei aspettarmi altro. Ma la ragione per cui parliamo di questo terminale solo ora è facile da intuire. La gran parte dei terminali che batista70phone testa e sottopone a prova provengono da….noi stessi. I telefoni ce li compriamo oppure qualcuno dei nostri amici lo mette a nostra disposizione. In questo caso dobbiamo ringraziare il mio carissimo amico, ed utente del Forum, Eduard che, una volta ricevuto il terminale dagli States, lo ha messo nelle mie mani per le prove di rito. Abbiamo parlato di questo terminale qualche giorno fa, QUI, relativamente ad un confronto al test Neocore con il Nexus S ed i commenti sulla sua presunta bellezza/bruttezza sono stati numerosi. Come dissi allora, il fatto che un terminale piaccia o meno è del tutto soggettivo ed a me, personalmente, il Droid Pro piace molto.

But the reason why we talk about this device just now it is easy to guess. Most part of tested and tried from batista70phone devices come from…..ourselves. We buy the phones or someone of our friends put it at our disposal. In this case we have to say thank you to my dearest friend, and our Forum user, Eduard, who, once he got the Droid Pro from States, put it in my hands for ritual tests. We talked about this device some days ago, HERE, about a Nexus S Neocore test comparison and we had a lot of comments about its alleged beauty/ugliness. How i said in that occasion, beauty is subjective and i like to much the Droid Pro.

Ancora news da HTC e Verizon. Nelle foto appare un modello di smartphone che, soprattutto per quella che ritrae il posteriore, potrebbe essere il Droid Incredible 2 (aka HD). Seguendo quanto fatto da Samsung per il Nexus S ed il Galaxy S, anche in questo caso “spariscono” i tasti touch che si illumineranno toccando il display. Dato il modulo radio CDMA difficilmente lo vedremo a Barcellona.

Still news from HTC and Verizon. On the pictures there is a smartphone model which, for the one that shows the back cover most of all, could be the Droid Incredible 2 (aka HD). Following what it has been done from Samsung on Nexus S and Galaxy S, in this case too touch buttons “disappear” that will enlighten touching the display. For its CDMA radio we won’t see it in Barcelona.

Sta diventando una consuetudine: le foto che ritraggono i nuovi modelli di smartphones provengono dai posto più inusuali. Quello che è ritratto in queste foto è un modello HTC fotografato nelle mani di un ragazzo nella metropolitana di Taipei. E’ chiaramente un modello di preserie e lo si può notare dal numero che si vede nella parte bassa. Le linee sembrano quelle del Thunderbolt presentato allo scorso CES di LAs Vegas ma non ha tasti fisici ed è presente una fotocamera frontale. Lo vedremo al prossimo WMC di Barcellona?

UNKNOWN HTC DEVICE SHOOT LEAKS ON SUBWAY
It is becoming a habit: pictures of new smartphone models come from unusual places. The one is in these pictures has been photographed on young guy hands on Taipei subway. It is clearly a pre series model and you can note from the telltale serial number on the button. Its lines look like that Thunderbolt presented at the last Las Vegas CES but it has not buttons and it has a front facing camera. We will see it at the next Barcelona WMC?

Con l’uscita dell’SDK di Android Honeycomb 3.0, Google ci svela nel dettaglio tutte le nuove feature del sistema operativo, che sono davvero molte e questa mossa intelligente, nel voler condividere da subito il nuovo SDK, farà si che gli sviluppatori possano prendere immediatamente confidenza con le nuove funzionalità, in modo da avere applicazioni ottimizzate per il nuovo sistema nel più breve tempo possibile. L’ape “androidizzata” in testa all’articolo, sembra proprio il logo ufficiale estratto dell’ultimo SDK di Honeycomb.

LG Optimus Dual, questo il nome con cui è stato battezzato il super smartphone specificatamente per il mercato italiano rispetto a Optimus 2X dei restanti Paesi, sarà infatti disponibile dalla seconda metà di febbraio su Open Market.
