Acer posticipa il lancio dell’Iconia Tab A100 (7 pollici) alla fine dell’estate per problemi di incompatibilità con Honeycomb

Ecco la classica notizia che non ci si aspettava. Acer ritarda l’uscita sul mercato dell’Iconia Tab A100, la versione da 7 pollici, posticipandola alla fine dell’estate 2011 per non meglio precisati problemi di incompatibilità con Honeycomb. Come sempre in questi casi non ci sono notizie ufficiali ma sappiamo bene che i rumors non sbagliano quasi mai. Il Tab A100, che doveva arrivare per la metà di questo mese, secondo DigiTime.com soffrirebbe di alcuni problemi di incompatibilità con Honeycomb legati alle sue dimensioni caratteristiche che avrebbero provocato difficoltà non previste in fase di progetto. Anche i tecnici di Google starebbero lavorando per trovare una soluzione; è giusto ricordare che tablet come il “vecchio” Galaxy Tab o HTC Flyer, essendo dotati di Froyo o Gingerbread, non abbiano nessun tipo di problema. Anzi, i commenti dopo l’aggiornamento del Galaxy Tab sono tutti molto positivi. Vedremo cosa succederà.

Acer postpones Iconia Tab A100 (7 inch) launch to next end summer for incompatibility with Honeycomb

Here it is the classic news that was unexpected. Acer delays the Tab Iconia A100, the 7-inch version, launch on the market,  postponing it to the the end of summer 2011 for unspecified problems of incompatibility with Honeycomb. As always in these cases there is no official news but we know that the rumors do not hardly ever wrong. Iconia Tab A100, which was scheduled to arrive by mid of this month, according to DigiTime.com, suffers some incompatibility issues with Honeycomb related to its characteristics size  that have caused difficulties not foreseen in the draft stage. Even Google’s engineers would be working to find a solution; it is fair to say that the tablet as ”old” Galaxy  Tab or HTC Flyer, being with Froyo or Gingerbread, have no problem. Indeed, the comments after upgrading the Galaxy Tab are all very positive. We’ll see what happens.
