Disponibile nuova Beta di Firefox 4 Mobile per Android e Maemo

Mozilla ha pubblicato un paio di giorni fa una nuova Beta di Firefox 4 Mobile, l’edizione per sistemi operativi Android e Maemo del suo browser di nuova generazione, ancora in via di sviluppo.
Tra le molteplici novità troviamo: l’introduzione delle estensioni (o add-ons) per personalizzare le caratteristiche, le funzionalità e l’aspetto di Firefox (oltre 100), prestazioni superiori di JavaScript, tempo di avvio e di caricamento delle pagine più rapido, ridotta occupazione di memoria e di uso del processore, introdotte alcune funzionalità per migliorare la leggibilità di una pagina web con lo zoom e molto altro.  Alcuni test recenti su benchmarks di JavaScript dimostrano che la nuova Beta di Firefox è più veloce del browser di default di Android, circa tre volte più veloce su Kraken, circa due volte più veloce su SunSpider e leggermente più veloce su V8.

AVAILABLE NEW FIREFOX 4 BETA FOR ANDROID AND MAEMO
Mozilla has published a new Beta of Firefox 4 Mobile, the edition for Android and Maemo operating systems of its new generation browser, which is still developing.
Among the many innovations we can find: the introduction of extensions (or add-ons) to customize the features, functionality and appearance of Firefox (over 100) of JavaScript performance, faster start-up time and page load time, reduced memory usage and  processor use, introduced some features to improve the readability of a web page with zoom, and much more. Some recent tests on JavaScript benchmarks, show Firefox new Beta is faster than the stock Android browser; roughly three times faster on Kraken, about twice as fast on SunSpider and slightly faster on V8.
