Dopo avervi raccontato le mie prime impressioni ho proseguito le prove sul Nexus S e, autonomia a parte, sono riuscito a testare praticamente tutto in un paio di giornate di utilizzo come terminale principale. Prime impressioni positive confermate come potrete vedere dalla mia “breve”, in confronto a quella di Mik , video recensione.

Il video dopo il salto, non fate caso al sottotitolo tagliato; era la prima volta che usavo iMovie e alcune cose devo ancora affinarle. Per approfondimenti più tecnici vi rimando alla video recensione di Mik, io ho preferito concentrarmi di più sull’uso “on the road”. Buona visione

NEXUS S, VIDEO REVIEW BY BATISTA70

After having told you my first impressions, i continued Nexus S test and, a part battery section, i have been able to test almost everything in a couple of days like main phone. First impressions are confirmed as you will see on my, very short review, compared with Mik one.

Video after the jump and don’t matter at the cutted subtitle; it was the first time i used iMovie and i have to refine something. For further insights i refer you to Mik’s review, i preferred to concentrate on daily use on the road.

Eccoci qua con la solita recensione che spetta a tutti i terminali che passano fra le nostre mani. In questo caso riguarda un terminale che non vedremo mai ufficialmente dalle nostre parti, scelta alquanto discutibile, con il quale Motorola sfida apertamente  RIM ed i suoi Blackberry. Stiamo parlando del Droid Pro, telefono molto interessante e dotato di doppia personalità grazie allo schermo touch ed alla tastiera Qwerty; ho volutamente tralasciato tutti gli aspetti di FroYo che conosciamo già per soffermarmi su alcuni punti nei quali il telefono non sfigura assolutamente, ad iniziare dal comparto fotografico. Devo dire, per completezza di informazione, che, mentre lo preparavo per il video, il terminale si è stranamente “inchiodato” un paio di volte e per farlo ripartire è stato necessario rimuovere la batteria. Essendo un telefono della linea Global, funziona con la consueta qualità in ricezione tipica di Motorola, anche con il nostro sistema radio GSM/UMTS. Purtroppo, provenendo direttamente dagli States, ha solo le lingue inglese e spagnolo di default, ma non è un grosso problema nell’uso quotidiano, soprattutto dopo aver scaricato QUESTA applicazione potremo utilizzare anche la lingua italiana. MOTOROLA DROID PRO, VIDEOREVIEW BY PIGEONBLOOD FOR BATISTA70PHONE

Here we are with the usual review that exspect to all devices which come in our hands. In this case it is about a device which we won’t never see officially in our country , strange decision, with which Motorola challenges clearly RIM and Blackberry devices. We are talking about the Droid Pro, very interesting phone with double personality thanks the touchscreen display and Qwerty keaboard; i did’nt treat deliberaely all FroYo aspects that we already know for focusing some important point where the phone doesn’t deface like the camera section. I must say, for full information, that, while i was preparing it for the video, the phone crashed a couple of time, remaining blocked and i had to remove the battery for rebooting. Beeing a Global series phone it works, with the usual Motorola quality reception, connected to our GSM/UMTS system radio. Unfortunately, coming directly from United States, it has only English and Spanish as default languages but it is not a problem on daily use and you need only to download THIS .apk to install italian language.

Come di consueto ecco qualche scatto ed una prova video, in 720×480, effettuati con il Nexus S. La qualità delle foto è discreta, i video sono piuttosto fluidi, ma sappiamo benissimo che la foto-videocamera non è il punto forte di questo terminale … iniziamo con una foto by day.

Ebbene si, sono tornato ad Android dopo una parentesi Windows Phoniana, molto soddisfacente ma un po’ troppo statica per i miei gusti; l’aggiornamento tarda ed io ho necessità di alcune funzioni per me fondamentali. Il mio ritorno non poteva che essere dalla porta principale, in attesa dei Dual Core dopo Barcellona.

Motorola ha prodotto questo ottimo ed efficace promo video, in cui è possibile valutare nello spazio di circa 2 minuti, le tante funzionalità e peculiarità del suo terminale di punta: Atrix 4G il quale è stato una delle star dell’ultimo CES di Las Vegas.

Un prodotto assai interessante, certamente dal punto di vista hardware perchè prevede oltre ad un processore dual core Nvidia Tegra2, ben 1 Gb di RAM , 16 GB di storage interno espandibile, lettore di impronte digitali, display qHD,  anche la possibilità di trasformarsi in un netbook o un media center con le relative docking station.

MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G: VIDEO PROMO

Motorola produced this excellent and effective video promo, where it is possible to evaluate, in about two minutes, many feautures of its top of the line device: Atrix 4G which has been one of the star of last Las Vegas CES. A very interesting product about hardware of course because it has, over the Nvidia Tegra 2 dual core processor, 1Gb of RAM, 16 Gb of storage expandable, finger prints reader, qHD display and the option to become a netbook or a media center with special dock stations.

I ragazzi di Engadget, giocando con l’SDK, rilasciato l’altro giorno, di Android 3.0 Honeycomb, hanno condiviso i loro test, da cui si sono rivelati molti indizi interessanti, i quali portano a pensare che questa nuova piattaforma Android si esprime al meglio certamente nei i tablet, ma non solo per i tablet. E’ qualcosa di cui sono convinto anche io personalmente e che ho già espresso in altri post e articoli.

Finalmente il seguito di uno dei più bei giochi di corse per Android sta per arrivare. GameLoft starebbe per rilasciare Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, la nuova ed entusiasmante versione del famoso gioco di corse automobilistiche. La nuova versione avrà 42 nuove auto e moto, incluse ferrari e Ducati, nuove locations di gara fra le quali Los Angeles, Tokyo e le Bahamas; garantito il supporto multiplayer fino a sei giocatori. Non c’è nessuna data precisa ma non dovrebbe volerci molto. Stay tuned.

ASPHALT 6 (ADRENALINE HD) IS COMING TO ANDROID

The following of one of the most beautiful Android race game is finally coming. GameLoft would be to release Asphalt 6: Adrenaline HD, new and thrilling version of the famous car race game. New version will have 42 new cars and bikes, Ferrari and Ducati included, new race locations including Los Angeles, Tokyo and Bahamas Islands; multiplayer support up to six player wil be guaranteed. There is not exact date for now but we don’t have to wait longer. Stay tuned.

Dopo il rilascio dell’SDK di Android Honeycomb, anche se in una versione ancora non definitiva, Google sta cercando di fare il massimo per spianare la strada alla nuova versione di Android 3.0 Honeycomb. Il motivo è che questa versione di Android rappresenta un aggiornamento davvero importante e porterà molti cambiamenti, soprattutto nell’ambito dello sviluppo, perciò è nell’interesse di Google che la nuova piattaforma diventi al più presto familiare a tutti.

GOOGLE EVENT PLANNED FOR NEXT WEEK: ANDROID 3.0 HONEYCOMB SHOW OFF

After Android Honeycomb release on SDK, despite it is not a final version, Google is doing its best for preparing the way to new Android 3.0 version Honeycomb. The reason is that this Android version is a very important update and will bring many changement, especially on development field, so it is Google interest that new platform becomes familiar to everybody soon.

In un tweet recente sul suo account Twitter, Rovio ha svelato che, in collaborazione con la 20th Century Fox, sta preparando “Angry Birds Rio”, un gioco completamente nuovo con 45 livelli, ambientato a Rio, la seconda città del Brasile. Il gioco arriverà negli App Stores a marzo, ma non vi sono molte informazioni sui contenuti. 
Per ora godetevi il breve trailer che RovioMobile ha divulgato (il video dopo il break).

ROVIO AND 20th CENTURY FOX UNVEILED ANGRY BIRDS RIO IN MARCH
In a recent tweet on its twitter account, Rovio unveiled that, together with 20th Century Fox, is preparing Angry Birds Rio, a completely new game featuring 45 levels that take place in Rio, Brazil’s second largest city. The game will hit App Stores in march, but there are little informations about the contents.
